Kevin Robinson
Kevin Robinson is a 15-year veteran of Wi-Fi Alliance and became CEO of the organization in October 2022. Kevin is focused on securing sufficient, harmonized global Wi-Fi spectrum, deepening engagement and cohesion across the Wi-Fi ecosystem, and evolving the organization to ensure it remains as nimble as the industry it serves.
Serving as Wi-Fi Alliance’s Vice President of Marketing for the last seven years, Robinson has led many of the organization’s most transformative initiatives and has been a leading ambassador for promoting Wi‑Fi and Wi‑Fi Alliance as a collaboration forum worldwide. Kevin oversaw branding, communications, market development, product management, program marketing, and public relations for the organization. He was also responsible for driving the development of Wi-Fi Alliance corporate strategy.
Before joining Wi-Fi Alliance in 2008, Kevin enjoyed working with early-stage technology startups on business strategy consulting and technology market research. Kevin is a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a Captain in the Infantry. Kevin holds a BS in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from The University of Texas at Austin. He lives with his family in Austin, Texas.
Jason Fu
Jason Fu is Vice President of Membership. As the leader for relationship management, engagement, and cultivation for current and prospective member companies, he is responsible for ensuring the health of our global membership. Jason and his team are dedicated to advancing the Wi-Fi Alliance mission and goals through developing deep and lasting relationships with members.
Jason has more than 20 years of experience in high tech, including sales and marketing, including IT, mobile and fixed broadband network, and cloud services. He has cross-culture team management experience in both developing and developed countries, as well channel ecosystem development, including B-to-B and government. While living in various countries working for fortune 500 companies, Jason was responsible for setting up branch offices and subsidiary companies, and designing go-to-market strategies for China, U.S., Europe, and Latin America.
Jason earned a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University in China.
Alex Roytblat
Alex Roytblat is Vice President of Worldwide Regulatory Affairs, where he is responsible for managing and overseeing all regulatory matters and compliance issues related to the Wi-Fi ecosystem. In his role, Alex works with Wi-Fi Alliance members, directors and executives to advance policy priorities with policymakers, regulators and other stakeholders.
With more than 25 years of experience in telecom regulations, Alex is an internationally recognized expert with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape. Prior to joining Wi-Fi Alliance, Alex served at the United States Federal Communications Commission, where he was involved in all phases of domestic and international radio spectrum management processes. Previously, Alex held technical roles at Stanford Telecommunications and Booz Allen & Hamilton. He holds a Master of Science in Communications Networks from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Eta Kappa Nu) from George Mason University.
Maureen Gallagher
Maureen Gallagher is the Vice President of Marketing at Wi-Fi Alliance, where she is responsible for creating and accelerating the organization’s marketing strategy and brand recognition across the globe. She oversees product management, business development, and marketing communications. In addition, Maureen is responsible for driving the growth and success of Wi-Fi CERTIFIED, the international seal of approval for products indicating that they have met industry-agreed standards for interoperability.
Maureen is a Certified Product Manager with extensive experience in go-to-market (GTM) strategy, persona-based marketing, and customer journey mapping. She has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, developing strategic partnerships and alliances for business expansion.
Before joining Wi-Fi Alliance, Maureen worked for Bentley Systems, leading product solutions for smart grids, smart cities, and communication networks. Maureen has over 25 years of global experience in high-tech marketing, including product management, product marketing, and business development for American Airlines, Sabre, Dell, and technology start-ups. Maureen earned an MBA in International Business from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Economics from Eastern Illinois University. She lives with her husband in Austin, Texas, and enjoys cycling, hiking, and the Texas Longhorns.
Gaurav Jain
Gaurav Jain is the Vice President of Technology at Wi-Fi Alliance. In his role, Gaurav works with Wi-Fi Alliance member companies to engineer Wi-Fi solutions and drive commercial, consumer, and enterprise adoption of products. Gaurav leads the R&D team and represents Wi-Fi Alliance across the technology industry.
With more than 15 years of experience in the software engineering and wireless connectivity industries, Gaurav has a wealth of experience making him a valuable member of our team. As a core member of the Wi-Fi Alliance engineering group for over a decade, Gaurav has contributed to the development of industry leading certification programs based on IEEE 802.11 standards, Wi-Fi Alliance specifications and related initiatives, providing leadership, direction, and advocacy as necessary to technical task groups, Authorized Test Laboratories and Wi-Fi Alliance member companies. Prior to joining Wi-Fi Alliance, Gaurav worked at Apple, Inc. and Wipro, Ltd., taking the role of a technical subject matter expert and software engineering lead working with several wireless industry consortiums. Gaurav holds a four-year technical degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India. In his free time, Gaurav enjoys playing tennis and chess.
Dan Peterman
Dan Peterman is the Senior Director of Finance, where he leads strategic finance initiatives while also overseeing the accounting and IT functions of the organization.
Dan is a global business veteran with over fifteen years of experience working primarily in semiconductors and financial services industries. He is a CPA and has achieved success in rapid growth, global environments at SunPower Corporation and WorldFirst foreign exchange. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) after concurrently earning his Master’s in Professional Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
In his free time, Dan is a world traveler and a focused athlete who enjoys being outdoors in Austin.
