Wi-Fi Alliance certification programs support today’s technology landscape and anticipate future market needs. From the first certification in 2000 to more than 80,000 certifications today, Wi-Fi CERTIFIED® programs are foundational to the rapid adoption and proliferation of Wi-Fi products.
Certification is available for a wide range of consumer, enterprise, and operator-specific products, including smartphones, appliances, computers and peripherals, networking infrastructure, and consumer electronics. Wi-Fi CERTIFIED products are backward compatible — meaning legacy devices can work with recently released products — and have been tested to deliver interoperability with the latest technologies and the latest security protections, including WPA3™.
